Types of Cuts

Sticker Cut Types

CONTOUR CUT

The final look of the sticker will be custom cut around the design, with some remaining background material inside the decal between the design elements themselves. We usually try to reduce the amount of material left inside the design by cutting away all but a 1,2 mm margin around the outside edge of the design itself, as there must be a little margin to compensate the cutting margin error.

ROUND CUT

The sticker will be cut in a circle, in order to include all the intended design.

OVAL CUT

The sticker will be cut in an oval shape, in order to include all the intended design. It is normally used as an alternative to the round cut when the design has a non-square aspect ratio.

SQUARE CUT

Most basic type of cut, especially used with minimalist style designs or square ratio designs.

RECTANGULAR CUT

Basic type of cut, especially used with minimalist style designs or non-square ratio designs.

OTHER TYPES OF CUTS

Some types of cuts are used to complement the design or to add a little detail and they may not match specifically to any of the above types. They don’t have to be round or square or contour, but sometimes a mix of them all, or just an almost random cut to mimic for example ink splash design or some object related to the design.

Back Paper Cut Types

1 BY 1 (INDIVIDUAL STICKERS)

All stickers will be divided 1 by 1, ready to stick. More practical option for commercial purposes, such as companies, brands, events, etc.

SMALL SHEETS

Small sheets with various stickers. Best option for an optimal relationship between value and practicality. We recommended it for workshops and industry, where the stickers are ready to be applied and are contained in small sheets, which makes their handling practical. The size of these sheets can be customized to the customer’s taste and the stickers will be pre-cut.

ENTIRE SHEET

A whole sheet of the square meter will be delivered with all the stickers. They will be pre-cut and ready to apply. Most economical option.
